additional resources at the university of maryland

The University of Maryland celebrates myriad components of diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive and respectful campus for students, faculty, and staff.  The university has many resources devoted to supporting students’ identities, experiences, and interests, and help them transition smoothly to the Terp community.

Please see below for a list of resources to encourage student engagement within multiple university circles. Additionally, hundreds of student organizations including groups dedicated to hobbies, art, cultural identity, religious practice, sexual orientation, social justice, environmentalism, activism, and much more can be found on the STAMP website. Finally, there are physical facilities in the university that support a wide variety of activities, and more can be found here, including the university recreation and wellness center, as well as the performing art center.

Please note that the First Look Fair occurs in both the fall and the Second Look Fair in the spring semester, during which every student group is invited to prepare a table and talk to students.  In a normal semester, this would happen outside the mall.
